New development near Looe and Polperro

We went to visit a great new development earlier this week between Looe and Polperro. In a great location down a narrow road it really feels 'off the beaten track'. And, being just over the border from Devon, this part of South East Cornwall is a couple of hours closer to the rest of the country than much of the county.

It will have a mix of 40-45 bungalows and houses built to a high spec. Some of the properties will sit on the brow of the hill and have the view shown to the right. Not bad to wake up to!

20 or so of the properties have apparently been sold off plan since January so the market is still strong for the right sort of properties.

We will hopefully be talking to prospective owners in the coming weeks and would hope to have the properties available from the end of next year when the development completes. New properties in Dartmouth

We recently took on 3 stunning properties for self catering in Dartmouth at the Dartmouth Marina. These are top spec, £1m properties with wonderful estuary views. These 2 bed apartments and houses can let for £2,000+ during the peak weeks and should provide high value bookings year round.

Dartmouth is a bit of a hot spot. There isn't too much new build going on, just the odd development with 2-4 apartments (one is nearing completion in Kingswear, called Sails, being sold through Charles Head, and Marchand Petit have a 3 bed house available at the Pottery, which is out of the town centre towards the castle) but if you get the right property it can prove very popular.

We only got the Dart Marina properties up on the website with photos a few weeks ago and they already look like they will each get 3 bookings apiece in May. A couple of Dart Marina properties are still available through Knight Frank.
